She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Season 1 Review

Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has come to an end with a pretty crazy and different ending and After binge-watching all 9 episodes in a single day, this is my review of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is a legal comedy that follows Bruce Banner’s cousin tackling the life of a 30-something attorney who so happens to be a superpowered Hulk.

In this review, Like many others, I’ll be telling you what I liked and didn’t like about the series and my rating of the series out of 10.

What I Liked

The characters

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Season 1

I have never read a She-Hulk comic ever, but I genuenly liked the different goofy characters we got in the series. Characters were interesting and pretty funny and Jennifer Walters, She-Hulk herself, was a funny character to watch throughout the series and at some points it felt pretty bad when she wasn’t in the scene.

Other characters like Pug, Nikki Ramos, Frog Man and K.E.V.I.N were really good too, I mean I’m not gonna remember these characters in a week or 2 but it was fun seeing them on my screen.

The Familiar Faces (Spoiler Warning)

Benedict Wong is in the series for a few episodes and In my opinion that was a huge W for She-Hulk, I love the character of Wong, and although I did find myself going “That’s a pretty dumb reason for Wong to appear in this”, I still loved seeing him in this because it’s Wong man c’mon.

Charlie Cox is here, yay. I was very happy to see Daredevil in this even though I also thought his reasons for being there (AND STAYING TILL THE FINALE????) were pretty dumb, I still enjoyed seeing the character and I’m hyped for his show and I pray to God they don’t change the formula and make that show anything like this one.

Bruce Banner and Abomination are also here which was… Okay, I guess… Great seeing you guys again.

The Comedy

She-Hulk is funny and by that I mean it’s the usual Marvel funny that we’ve come to love but start to find kinda annoying the series has some pretty funny moments that I found entertaining, the comedy elements will not go down as the best of any other MCU Show but it had me giggling at some parts which is what I expect from Marvel stuff now.

The finale was also the funniest episode in my opinion because of how it sort of flipped the table and went against the “Big CGI Fight Finale” that I was expecting and it instead ends in a pretty wholesome way that might not be unforgettable but is pretty funny and cool.

What I didn’t Like

The CGI

This was kinda fun ngl, and the guy they used as She-Hulk in this sequence, super funny.

Remember when we got our first look at she-hulk and the CGI got some backlash and Marvel “Improved” it and it looked kinda better, well it didn’t look better at all at least to me. I watched the first episode and I thought I’d eventually get used to the CGI for She-Hulk but I never really did. Every scene the character was in felt kind of off; someone on the internet compared the CGI to that of FIFA, and I see it.

I hope it gets better over some time, it’s not a huge thing that’ll stop anyone from watching but it’s something that kept grabbing my attention. The CGI just felt not so good to me.

Also, Spoiler Alert, I don’t know if they used CGI for most of Daredevil’s stunts but something felt off about it, some things felt Spider-Man-type smooth. Maybe it’s just me.

My Rating Out of 10

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was a fun series that was unlike other series from Marvel with a cool cast, a pretty self-contained story, and a WOW ending.

I am giving She-Hulk: Attorney At Law a respectable 7/10. It isn’t the best Marvel series we’ve gotten so far but it was pretty entertaining.

All Episodes of She-Hulk Attorney at Law are now streaming on Disney Plus.
