It’s Christmas time and you know what that means, cringe Christmas movies that are all the same but worry not, Those are not included in my list of Movies Coming This December

Like I said In the intro, I won’t be including all those cringe Christmas movie that include a lady coming to her hometown and seeing a guy she used to know but he is now hotter… How many of these movies have I watched? Too many. Without wasting any more time let’s begin.

West Side Story (Coming December 10)

Spider-Man: No Way Home (Coming 17 December)

Spider-Man No Way Home movies

Did you know Spider-Man: No Way Home comes to theatres this month? Of course you did. No Way Home is said to be one of the most ambitious Marvel movies since Endgame and I don’t doubt any of that.

The movie will see a lot of previous Spider-Man villains (Electro in Timbs, Doc Oc, Green Goblin, Lizard And Sandman) make an appearance and seemingly huge roles throughout the movie and it is also rumored to include past Spider-Men Andrew Garfield and Tobey Marguire. No Way Home will also be the second Spider-Man & Doctor Strange onscreen interaction since Endgame.

With a runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes including credits, No Way Home will most definitely have more than advertised and by more I mean the other Spider-Men and maybe JUST MAYBE Venom.

Spider-Man: No Way Home Comes out on the 17th of December with some having a release of 16 December.

The Matrix Resurrections (Coming 22 December)

The 4th addition in the Matrix Franchise comes this month in the form of The Matrix Resurrections and it will see the return of Keanu Reeves’ Neo seemingly after the events of The Matrix 3. The movie will feature a lot of returning cast members and a lot of new casts.

The new cast members include Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Erendira Ibarra, Priyanka Chopra, Andrew Caldwell, Brian J. Smith, Ellen Hollman and Christina Ricci.

There’s not much about the plot of the 4th movie and I didn’t watch the second and third movie so I can’t really have an opinion but I can say them trailers were trippy AF.

The movie comes out on the 22nd of December.

The King’s Man (Coming 22 December)

The third installment in the Kingsman film series also arrives this month with The King’s Man, the movie will explore the formation of the Kingsman organization so it stands as a Prequel.

Set in World War 1, the action adventure movie will introduce a bunch of new characters and the time period it is set in (1910) is said to be a driving factor in the formation of the organization.

The movie stars Ralph Fiennes, Colin Firth, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou and many more.

The King’s Man comes to theatres on the 22nd of December then after 45 days it will be available for digital purchase.

Don’t Look Up (Coming on the 24th Of December)

Starring Leonardo Dicaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Dune’s Timothée Chalamet, Jonah Hill, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Melanie Lynskey, Tyler Perry, Ron Perlman, Ariana Grande, Himesh Patel, kid Cudi AND SO MANY MORE, Don’t Look Up see’s Leonardo Dicaprio’s Dr. Randall Mindy and Jennifer Lawrence’s Kate Dibiasky go on a media tour to warn people of an approaching comet that will destroy the entire planet.

With such a star studded cast, Don’t Look Up could be of Netflix’s most expensive film to come out speaking of coming out. Don’t Look Up hits Netflix on the 24th Of December.

A Journal For Jordan (Coming Out December 25, 2021)

Directed by Denzel Washington and starring Michael B. Jordan, A Journal For Jordan is a drama movie based on a book of the same name by Dana Canedy that see’s a Sergeant (Charles Monroe King) who after being deployed to Iraq , begins to keep a journal of love and advice for his infant son.

Back Home, a senior New York Times editor Dana Canedy (played by Chante Adams) revisits the story of her unlikely, life-altering relationship with King and his enduring devotion to her and their child.

The movie comes out on the 25th Of December 2021 and looking at the trailer, it looks like a really heartwarming film.

Death To 2021 (Coming on the 27th of December)

The follow up to 2020’s Death To 2020 comes on the 27th of December in the form of Death to 2021 and it will feature the same awesome cast while also adding some new guys to the mix.

The mockumentary will look back at the past year (which was better than last year tbh) and mix in archive footage with some commentary from the fictional characters. This follow up seems to not include Sam Jackson which I personally don’t know how to feel about.

Death To 2021 hit’s Netflix on the 27th Of December and you can check out my review of Death To 2020 here.

SING 2 coming (27 December 2021)

The sequel to 2016’s animated musical ‘Sing’ comes out this month and it will feature the same cast and adds new cast members Pharell Williams, Latita Wright, Eric André And Chelsea Peretti.

The sequel will see the crew go to Redshore City to debut a new show at the Crystal Tower Theatre but have to pitch their idea to wolf mogul Jimmy Crystal, Buster then embarks on a mission to bring back lion rock legend Clay Calloway as part of their show.

The movie looks like it will feature the same comedy and love that many kids and parents have come to love from Illumination movies. Sing 2 comes on the 27th of December.
