Godzilla Vs. Kong (2021) Review: Is It Worth The Popcorn?
Warner Bros has finally given us one of the most hyped movie of 2021, Godzilla Vs. Kong has arrived and it was worth all the hype. This is my review of 2021s Godzilla Vs. Kong.
Godzilla Vs. Kong see’s the 2 iconic monsters go head to head with poor puny humans caught in between the amazing battle.
Like all my other movie and series review. I will be telling you 1. What I like and didn’t like and then 2. Whether you should check it out and my rating out of 10 so without wasting anymore of your time let’s begin.
What I Liked And Didn’t Like
What I liked
The Action Sequences

Movies in Warner Bros Monsterverse always pack in large CGI Filled action sequences that are nothing short of amazingness and this one does not disappoint. The action sequences are large with a lot of destruction that’s just amazing to watch and the fights between Kong and Godzilla are just so beautiful.
This movie’s action sequences in the previous movies look like Childs play, action sequences occur almost every 20 minutes which keeps you watching throughout. I genuinely enjoyed every action sequence and believe you will not be disappointed by it.
The CGI

CGI is an important component of these movies and they really made it a main focus in this movie. The detailing on both Kong and Godzilla is so amazing and almost jaw dropping every time you see it. They put a lot of details in every monster featured in this movie just like the did in the previous movies it’s just so incredible.
The destruction CGI is also incredible, it’s like a Battlefield game with how much detailing there is in the destruction. I did not see any flaw in the CGI and loved it from start to finish. The way they showed how huge these monsters are with the ground shots was really chefs kiss worthy.
The Cast
The humans in these movies are pawns more than anything but these 2 actors gave a pretty good performance for me and it was really good watching them.
The Story

They story is not perfect but it’s pretty good and it managed to keep me watching interestingly. The story also features some pretty funny moments and a twist that although was sort of predictable, was a pretty good addition to the overall story. The story also doesn’t distract you from what you came to see (the ape and toxic lizard fight) which I loved.
What I didn’t Like
I genuenly didn’t hate anything in this movie, It gave me everything it promised to give me in it’s trailers and that’s enough for me.
Should You Check It Out?
Hell Yeah, Godzilla Vs. Kong is a visual masterpiece and that’s enough reason to watch it. The movie has some really really great visual effects that make watching it a kind of experience, I don’t know If I’ll ever recommend you watch anything else as hard as I recommend this.
Out of 10, I’m giving this movie a 10 because it just gave me everything I could’ve wanted from a Godzilla Vs. Kong movie. Thank you for feeding us so much Warner Bros.
Conclusion
Godzilla Vs. Kong was worth every single inch of hype I had built up for it because it delivered on every promise and did not miss a single beat, the movie has some of the best CGI of the year I swear.
